Samuel Jensen is currently finishing his Bachelors Degree in Music Education and Minor in Music Theory from the University of North Texas. He has studied clarinet with Professor Daryl Coad, Conducting with Teaching Fellow Jerianne Larson and performed with the North Texas Wind Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and the Green Brigade. He also programmed and produced his own Junior and Senior recitals.

Sam has also completed multiple research projects. He successfully defended his senior thesis with the Honors College where he qualified Heinrich Schenker’s Theory of Linear Analysis, and has presented his research at the Great Plains Honors Conference in 2023. In December of 2023, his thesis was published as the lead article in the North Texas Journal for Undergraduate Research.

Sam holds professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Mu Phi Epsilon, and the International Clarinet Association.
